Beijing time, March 5 evening news, according to Bloomberg News quoted people familiar with the situation, Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. raised 14 billion yuan in January through a five-year syndicated loan from five Chinese banks.

People familiar with the situation said that Bank of China, Construction Bank, National Development Bank, China Merchants Bank and Industrial and Commercial Bank are lenders.

Another person familiar with the matter said that another $300 million Samurai loan, involving Japanese investors, had been shelved.

Glenn Schloss, a spokesman for Huawei in Shenzhen, did not immediately respond to the news.

Before that, Huawei signed a $1.5 billion five-year loan in the offshore market in September 2018.
